Do I have to sign a long term contract or decide in advance how long I'll need my unit?
No. All leases are month-to-month leases. Aside from the one month minimum payment, there is no minimum or maximum stay. You do not need to decide up front how long you will need the unit, however, we do request a 20-day notice as a courtesy prior to your move-out date. This allows us to plan maintenance and cleaning to the unit for a speedy turnaround. It also ensures that your billing is finalized promptly.
Who provides the lock for the Unit?
You do. For your convenience, we offer for purchase a high-grade, disc-style lock that cannot be cut with bolt cutters. The locks can be purchased for $12 at time of lease. You are also welcome to use your own lock.
Is there any time when I will not be able to access my unit?
No. Your personal gate code give you security access to the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When is my payment due?
Payments are due on the 1st of every month, we DO NOT BILL. The second month is prorated, making all payments due on the 1st of every month.
What happens if I cannot make my payment?
There are late fees if your payment is not made on time. These are explained in your lease. If your payment is more than 15 days late, you will be locked out of your unit until payment is made. Once late payments are made, the check will need to clear prior to your unit being unlocked. When making a late payment, a cashier's check or money order ensures more timely access to your unit.
There is no keypad inside the gate, how do I get out?
The gate is controlled by a metal-loop detector and is triggered from the inside by a vehicle. Most motorcycles will open the gate, but if you drive a scooter or a DeLorean, the gate may not open. In this event, please call for instructions prior to entering the gate. Always drive your vehicle in the facility, do not park outside the gate and walk in.
